Ron Rothbart is leading a photowalk sponsored by the Sierra Club at Albany Bulb Nov. 7, 2010.

Anyone is welcome. Ron Rothbart gives  the description from the Sierra Club activities calendar:

Nov 7 · Sun · 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm · Hiking Section
Albany Bulb Sunset Photowalk 1A Hike. Stroll and take pictures in a unique environment, an anarchic amalgam of landfill, plant and animal life, guerrilla art, dog park, Bay views, and homeless encampment. The time changes today, giving us a 5 pm sunset. Cancellation: Any rain cancels. Bring: camera, liquid, boots or sturdy shoes, and flashlight. Meet: near the bathroom at the entrance to the park. Directions: Take the Buchanan Exit off highway 80 in Albany. Go left (west) on Buchanan to the end of the road. To avoid a 2-hour parking limit, park along the side of the road before the second “Albany Bayfront Trail” sign. Leader: Ron Rothbart – Flicker Photos
